I'm always interested in hearing about new products.. (though you may have a hard time swaying me from the old standards) ;-). I'd be interested in hearing more however. Donovan |

O.K., After having XTR-311 and seeing it's results going on around 4 years now, I thought I'd post my findings. Other than one of my renters having a less than satisfactory experience with it, I am very impressed. Personally, it has proven to be a faster-than-HXTAL-setting epoxy, and amazingly clear and strong. I've had to re-do a couple broken pieces over the years. With Glass, we know that the break points will be at the weakest points. It's amazing to me to see that no epoxy joints are ever the weak points. Instead, almost 1/4in. glass will break instead of the *very* thin epoxy joint. That's how good this stuff is. I get it from here: His GlassWorks Donovan |

| I can't proselytize this show enough. I love Harry Shearer! (In a manly, non-stalker sort of way) Its been awesome lately and Shearer is up for a grammy this year. If you haven't heard it, go to kcrw.com | |||

Bob, from HIS, pointed out that this epoxy is sensitive to the instructions. It could very well be something in the process that effected this batch of XTR. Donovan |

A renter of my shop received an order of XTR-311 from HisGlassworks that appears to be bad. Has anyone else experienced this? My experience with this epoxy was most excellent, but I was an eye witness to my renters issues with it. His joints were a bit thick... maybe at most 1/32". He appeared to mix the epoxy appropriately, but after 4.5 days, the epoxy was still not setting up. I have an email out to Bob at his glassworks to see if he has any ideas. Donovan |
