Here are a few of my most recent thoughts on vendors, I am amazed at the feel and quality of Cutting Edge's black jacks, a little extra in cost but worth it in my opinion. I use Olympic Color Rod and Spruce Pine Batch for my color suppliers and have never had a problem, if there was a problem they took care of me. I cannot say that for the Kugler distributor in Seattle, I placed a 5 kg. order for powders, they were not double bagged or wrapped in packing material, 3 bags were busted open when they arrived. I called Jade and was told I had done something wrong, as they ship worldwide and this had never been a problem before. I will never deal with them again. Spruce Pine and Olympic both double bag powders and frit, and they can afford packing material.
I also like Hot Block Tools, for blocks and steam sticks. I still work out of a University setting and they have held up well to the usual student abuse. Just a few of my thoughts, hope this helps someone.

Tom at High-Temp is a great resource. The prices on castables, bricks and fibers are always very good and he will get them to you quickly.

They are out of St. Louis.
